Holistic Dry Dog Food – Is it Hype?
Holistic Dry Dog Food – Is it Hype?
If you are like me, you are wondering what "holistic dry dog food" really is.
Frankly, it seems like a bunch of hogwash. The last time I checked, “holistic”
meant treating the whole being. This meant mental, social, physical, emotional
and spiritual factors. So if there was a dog food that could do all that then by
all means let's buy it for the dog!
Holistic Dog Food is Hype? Maybe Not
Quite –
Obviously, a dog food cannot do all that stuff. So what does
"holistic" mean when it comes to dog food? It seems that holistic in this sense
is going for more of the "organic" and "all-natural" sense. They are trying to
treat the whole dog, in the sense of immune system, digestive system and
endocrine system. They are doing more than just "feeding" the dog its required
daily calories.
Holistic Dog Food is Organic Dog Food –
More
people would consider it organic than anything else. Holistic dog food contains
no preservatives, chemicals, or other toxins. It certainly doesn't contain
animal by-products or other nasty stuff you find in commercial brands of dog
food. In fact, this stuff is much healthier than anything you would find in the
grocery store.
Holistic
dry dog food may not be all hype. It does treat your dog in ways that go
beyond just providing daily nutritional value. It treats your dog as a whole –
thus the "holistic" name. Give it a try and see if your dog acts and feels
healthier.
